CLARA JAJOO
I have been a midwife for ten years now and have worked in all different areas and gained experience. During my world trip I had the opportunity to visit midwives in different countries and met my husband. I moved with him to India and broadened my knowledge in naturopathic treatment and gave holistic care to many families. I have an additional homeopathic qualification.
We live in Schwetzingen since 2019. I am a freelance midwife and also used to work in the delivery room in Speyer until our son was born January 2021. In December 2022 we welcomed our daughter.
Since then I am mostly providing care during pregnancy and post partum.
MY WORK
My goal is happy and healthy women, children and families, who take a confident and well-informed path, just as it best suits them.
I will support you from the beginning of pregnancy to the end of breastfeeding and stand by your side with heart and mind, advice and action, experience and practical tips.
All services are covered by the statutory and usually also by the private health insurance companies.
PRENATAL CARE
I offer prenatal care in rotation with the gynaecologist. According to maternity guidelines, the care for a physiological pregnancy takes place at four-week intervals until the 32nd week of pregnancy, and then every two weeks thereafter. Even in the event of pregnancy complications, I can continue to look after you together with your gynaecologist.
The check-ups take place at your home and I have enough time for all questions and concerns. Partners and siblings are of course very welcome!
HELP WITH PREGNANCY PROBLEMS
Mental and physical changes over the course of the pregnancy are normal.
For all problems, I'm here for you.
At this visit I will give you useful recommendations on how you can soothe pregnancy problems and prevent them from occurring.
POSTPARTUM/MATERNITY CARE
With the birth of your child the puerperium begins and lasts 8 weeks. In this very special time of a new family with its adjustments, I will initially visit you every day and advise you extensively with many tips for the day-to-day life with your child. I take time for your worries and fears and will answer all your questions.
After one week the intervals will slowly decrease, tailored to your wishes and needs. I will look after you until the end of the lactation period and help with the introduction of solid food.

Laser Treatment
I own a LABpenMed 50 soft laser since 2024.
A variety of biochemical and bioelectrical effects occur during treatment with laser light. Laser therapy regenerates the metabolism in the cells.
The laser treatment improves blood circulation, relieves pain, has an anti-inflammatory and swelling-reducing effect, reduces the risk of infection and accelerates wound healing.
The treatment is completely pain-free and a significant relief
can be felt after just a few treatments.
The laser is used here, among other things:
pain during pregnancy | hemorrhoids | sore nipples | wound healing disorder in the case of a caesarean section scar or perineal injury | abnormalities of the child's navel | diaper dermatitis
Unfortunately, the cost for the treatment is not covered by health insurance companies
and must be paid privately.
If required, I also lend out the laser to families who are not looked after by me.
